During an interview with Rasphody.com T-Pain discusses how he never created his synthesized style of singing.
"I brought it back. I didn't start it," T-Pain explained to Rhapsody. "I didn't invent the damn thing. People think that I feel that way when I say that I should get respect or recognition for bringing it back."
Now that T-Pain has become successful from using the vocoder sound, artists such as Lil Wayne and Kanye West have added it to their music. In fact, Kanye's new album "808s & Heartbreak" uses the vocoder on every track.
T-Pain recently released his third album Thr33 Ringz this month.
